The role reports to the Director of Transmission Market Analysis and supports Scout Clean Energy’s project development and acquisitions decisions. The associate develops market analysis and forecasting capabilities, using pricing data and modeling tools to inform project viability, commercial decisions, and market-risk assessments across internal teams.

What you'll do

• Analyze and forecast nodal pricing and market trends
• assess grid reliability and project economics
• support implementation of forecasting software
• evaluate sites and historical substation prices
• provide pricing analysis for project development, structuring, asset management, M&A, and financing
• review third-party studies
• develop covariance-risk models
• collaborate with consultants and internal teams
• contribute market inputs to interconnection studies.
