Part-Time Detention Officer

What you'll do

• Supervise and monitor detainees in living, recreation, dining, and visitation areas
• coordinate movement, conduct counts, and provide emergency response as needed
• maintain safe program activities and supervise labor crews
• conduct shakedowns and confiscate prohibited items according to policy
• keep daily logs and disciplinary reports
• assist people who are injured, ill, or have experienced trauma
• report maintenance and repair needs.
