Senior Software Engineer (SWE-3) in Severn, MD. This is an onsite position with a salary range of $107,900.00 - $195,050.00 per year. This role is responsible for creating custom analytics to perform at scale, working closely with data scientists and end users to develop innovative analytic tools to further discovery and tradecraft around critical global challenges, then delivering innovative solutions focused on operationalizing data science.

What you'll do

• Work directly with data scientists and mission analysts to solve demanding strategic problems
• perform end-to-end software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, and deploy tools and tradecraft into the customer’s corporate architecture. Strong experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Java MapReduce, Python PySpark. Strong experience with statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentals, strong experience with customer tools, architecture, data flow, and use of big data. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab
• experience with Agile methodologies.
