The Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology Infusion role is an onsite position located in Avon, CT. Compensation is not specified for this role, which supports the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute. This role exists to provide holistic, quality nursing care to patients within the Infusion Center. The Registered Nurse will perform patient assessments, manage symptoms, administer chemotherapy and biotherapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Perform patient assessments and symptom management
• provide patient and family education
• administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, infusions, injections, and transfusions
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• manage a caseload of patients receiving infusion and oral therapies
• triage patients using established pathways.
