AVS Valve Technician

Job overview

The AVS Valve Technician is a full-time, onsite role based in Swedesboro, NJ, with work in shop and field environments and travel throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region as customer needs and project schedules require. Compensation is not specified. Atlantic Valve Services repairs, tests, calibrates, and services valves and related equipment for industrial facilities. The technician learns to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test industrial valves used in critical process industries. Working with experienced technicians, the role supports customer outages and maintenance projects while completing service records and following safety standards at customer facilities and AVS locations.

What you'll do

• Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair on industrial valves and related equipment
• assist with assembly and disassembly of control, safety relief, and isolation valves
• learn diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
• conduct valve testing, calibration, and performance verification
• follow technical procedures, drawings, and service documentation
• complete service reports and maintenance records
• support customer outages, maintenance projects, and field service activities
• maintain safety standards
• collaborate with technicians and engineers.
