Field Technician — Construction Inspections

Job overview

The Field Technician role is based in Glendale, AZ, with work at construction sites in Prescott and surrounding areas. Compensation is $18 per hour starting pay. ProTeX performs construction materials testing and inspections that support construction projects and community growth. The technician learns to inspect construction work against project specifications and building codes and performs testing and sampling at multiple sites. The role supports construction quality through inspections of foundations, anchors, drainage, soil, concrete, and materials. The schedule is Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours or more weekly, with rotating Saturdays and some starts as early as 1 a.m.; driving may reach 200 miles per day in a company-provided truck.

What you'll do

• Inspect construction work for compliance with project specifications and building codes
• perform post-tension foundation, anchor, and drainage inspections
• conduct soil testing, concrete sampling, and materials sampling
• travel between construction sites
• work independently with limited supervision.
