The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Companion role is onsite in West Roxbury, MA, with pay of $18–$22 per hour. The companion provides patient-centered support that helps clients feel safe and connected while giving families peace of mind. The role follows individualized care plans and supports daily routines, meals, mobility, activities, and documentation of changes in behavior or condition.

What you'll do

• Provide support with personal hygiene and daily routines
• prepare meals suited to client needs and preferences
• maintain a calm living space
• accompany clients on outings, errands, and appointments
• offer reminders and assistance with medications
• support safe mobility and transportation
• engage clients in activities and conversation
• use calming and redirection techniques
• follow care plans and document changes.
