Medication Aide — Day Shift

Job overview

The Medication Aide role is onsite in Mount Pleasant, NC, with compensation of $13–$20 per hour. Mt. Pleasant House works to create safe, comfortable communities where seniors can thrive. The aide supports residents’ health and well-being by administering and documenting medications accurately, monitoring health changes, and assisting the nursing team. The role also includes resident engagement, basic care support, and following safety and infection-control procedures.

What you'll do

• Prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders and company protocols
• store and handle medications properly
• monitor and report adverse reactions and changes in residents’ health
• record vital signs as needed
• assist with basic healthcare tasks under licensed staff supervision
• encourage resident participation in wellness activities
• follow infection-control procedures
• maintain medication carts and records
• respond to emergencies.
