HVAC Technician

Job overview

The HVAC Technician role is onsite in Leonardtown, MD, with compensation of $35–$50 per hour. The technician serves residential and commercial customers for Winters Heating & Cooling. The role installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, and cooling systems, diagnoses system issues, and explains findings to customers. It also supports service operations by following scheduled jobs, documenting progress, processing invoices and payments, maintaining the company vehicle and its stock, and participating in training.

What you'll do

• Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems
• diagnose electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
• obtain replacement parts and calibrate systems to manufacturer recommendations
• explain issues to customers
• identify sales opportunities
• follow scheduled service work and report progress
• prepare invoices and process card payments
• maintain the company vehicle, tools, parts, and safety equipment
• participate in training.
