Network Engineer — Enterprise Infrastructure, Hybrid

The Network Engineer role is hybrid, with assignments across multiple locations in Louisiana. Pay is $55–$60 per hour. The engineer designs, implements, and supports reliable, secure, high-performing networks, working with infrastructure teams, security staff, and client stakeholders. The role also handles troubleshooting, upgrades, security controls, documentation, and Tier 2/3 support to maintain network availability and resilience.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, install, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure
• manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs
• monitor performance, availability, and capacity and analyze root causes
• plan upgrades, migrations, and expansions
• implement routing and switching protocols
• administer network security controls
• apply firmware updates and hardening standards
• manage DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
• support high availability and disaster recovery
• provide Tier 2/3 support
• document network diagrams, configurations, procedures, and changes.
