The role combines medical assistant duties with X-ray services to support direct patient care and clinic operations. The employee assists providers, performs clinical tests and procedures, maintains patient-care areas and equipment, and helps ensure efficient patient flow and quality control.

What you'll do

• Obtain patient complaints and vital signs
• maintain accurate records
• prepare rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies
• prepare and assist patients with examinations, procedures, and treatments
• follow infection-control and HIPAA requirements
• perform lab tests, EKGs, X-rays, phlebotomy, injections, ear lavage, medication administration, triage, splinting, urine drug testing, and strep testing as directed
• orient and train incoming LSRT/MA staff
• maintain clinic cleanliness and stock
• perform daily quality-control functions
• send X-rays for daily over-read
• support patient flow and ensure back-office and X-ray systems function properly. Evening and weekend work may be necessary.
