The Director of Quality, Transit role is onsite in Crookston, MN. Compensation is $140,000–$174,000 per year. New Flyer manufactures heavy-duty transit buses and provides charging and mobility infrastructure solutions. The director leads the Transit Quality organization across manufacturing operations, setting strategy and ensuring the Quality Management System is effective. The role develops teams and coordinates cross-functional work to address quality issues affecting customers and the business.

What you'll do

• Execute Transit quality strategy, goals, improvement priorities, and resource plans
• establish consistent measures and reviews across plants
• report performance, risks, and recovery plans to senior leadership
• lead plant Quality Managers and develop capable teams
• improve the Quality Management System and support ISO 9001 registration and audits
• set expectations for containment, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and effectiveness checks
• lead customer, program, and supplier quality responses
• promote defect prevention and standardized work.
