Fluid Power Specialist

Job overview

The Fluid Power Specialist role is onsite in Charlotte, NC; pay is $110,000–$115,000 per year. The position works with customers, account managers, engineering, project management, and supplier partners to develop hydraulic solutions for equipment performance and reliability. The specialist evaluates application requirements, designs fluid power systems, selects components, and supports solutions from concept through implementation. Technical recommendations, documentation, and troubleshooting help customers improve safety, productivity, efficiency, and system performance.

What you'll do

• Identify customer application requirements and recommend fluid power solutions
• develop hydraulic system concepts
• review operating conditions and performance requirements
• perform hydraulic calculations and select components
• develop schematics, bills of materials, and technical documentation
• support customer meetings and proposals
• provide demonstrations and training
• support projects through installation and startup
• troubleshoot hydraulic issues.
