Radio Frequency Engineer

The Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer role is onsite at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in St. Mary’s County, MD. Pay is $130,000–$165,000 annually. The role supports the U.S. Marine Corps’ MAGTF Agile Network Gateway Link (MANGL) program and its Digital Interoperability team. The engineer contributes RF hardware and software design, waveform development, networking, and integration of tactical radios and data links. The work supports system interoperability, compliance, architecture, requirements management, and acquisition documentation for the program.

What you'll do

• Support the Digital Interoperability MANGL family of systems
• perform systems engineering, hardware and software design support, and RF system integration
• apply EMC practices
• develop and support IP networking, data links, and tactical radio networks
• contribute to waveform development
• support CSfC initiatives
• conduct architecture development and requirements management
• support mission systems and acquisition documentation
• collaborate with stakeholders and joint partners.

Why this role

Requires at least 10 years of engineering experience, a bachelor’s degree or greater in Electrical Engineering, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. The position is 100% onsite.
