The Used Car Service Technician – 2nd Shift role is onsite in Ballston Spa, NY. Compensation is $50,000–$175,000 per year. The technician supports MOHAWK Auto Group’s used-car service team by inspecting and repairing inventory vehicles. The role helps ensure used vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for service by diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing maintenance and repairs, and documenting work. Coordination with the service team supports repair scheduling and parts availability.

What you'll do

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
• report safety or performance issues
• conduct vehicle inspections and test drives
• maintain service records
• coordinate repair schedules and parts inventory
• meet manufacturer standards and safety regulations
• communicate service recommendations and repairs to customers.

Why this role

Second shift runs from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. A New York State Inspector’s License and valid New York State driver’s license are required; ASE or other accredited automotive repair certification is preferred.
