What you'll do

• Inspect roadway, bridge, utility, erosion-control, and other infrastructure construction for compliance with drawings and NCDOT standards
• identify and report discrepancies and defects
• maintain daily records and prepare inspection reports and related documentation
• test soil, asphalt, and concrete
• collaborate with NCDOT staff, contractors, and stakeholders
• monitor site safety and report hazards
• communicate project updates.
