What you'll do
- Seat patients, obtain vital signs, and review medical histories
- assist doctors during dental procedures and oral surgeries, including tray assisting and sedation processes
- prepare medications as directed
- maintain chart notes and clinical documentation
- prepare operatories and instruments
- educate patients about procedures and postoperative care
- take impressions and pour models
- obtain dental X-rays
- follow infection-control, sterilization, and patient-safety protocols.
