In-Home Caregiver

The In-Home Caregiver role is onsite in the Salt Lake City–South Jordan, UT area, with compensation of $17–$19 per hour and shift differentials that may bring earnings up to $27 per hour. Visiting Angels provides in-home support to seniors and adults with disabilities. The caregiver helps clients maintain independence and comfort at home through personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, companionship, and household support. The role also assists with transportation, recovery needs, dementia care, and medication reminders according to client needs.

What you'll do

• Assist with activities of daily living and hygiene
• provide incontinence care as needed
• support clients recovering from surgery, hospital stays, or cancer treatments
• transport clients to appointments, errands, and social outings
• prepare meals
• provide companionship
• assist with transfers and mobility
• support clients with dementia or Alzheimer's
• perform light housekeeping
• remind clients to take medications as scheduled.

Why this role

Weekend shifts are a focus, and weekend availability is required. CNA certification is a plus; CNA-certified caregivers start at $18 per hour. Valid driver's license, vehicle, insurance, and negative TB test required.
