The Seasonal Parks Maintenance Staff role is onsite in Glen Ellyn, IL, with compensation of $17–$17.50 per hour. The schedule is flexible within Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., for 16–40 hours per week through December 23, 2026. The Glen Ellyn Park District provides recreation programs, facilities, athletics, and open space for local residents. The staff member performs general maintenance to keep parks and facilities safe, clean, and well maintained. The work supports the district’s community recreation mission through upkeep of grounds, athletic fields, and facilities, as well as event setup and seasonal tasks.

What you'll do

• Perform mowing, trimming, and mulching
• help maintain athletic fields
• trim trees
• set up special events
• handle trash and bathroom maintenance
• perform snow removal
• use hand and power tools and powered equipment as needed.
