The Overnight Emergency Room Veterinary Technician position is onsite in Englewood, CO, with overnight shifts Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Compensation is $24–$30 per hour. The role supports VRCC Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital, where specialists, emergency clinicians, and support staff work together to provide veterinary care. The technician provides nursing and diagnostic support for emergency and specialty patients, assisting with examinations, procedures, medications, monitoring, and records. The work helps maintain safe patient care and effective hospital operations while supporting communication with pet owners and the veterinary team.

What you'll do

• Conduct examinations and diagnostic procedures
• take vital signs, collect samples, administer medications, drugs, and vaccines, and bandage wounds
• assist with examinations and operations by preparing supplies and instruments and restraining patients as directed
• maintain patient food, water, and clean rooms and equipment
• document patient conditions and changes
• communicate patient status to owners as directed by the veterinarian
• maintain equipment and inventory
• support triage and discharge
• follow applicable safety and sanitation procedures.

Why this role

A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is offered based on experience as a credentialed veterinary technician. Emergency or specialty veterinary experience is required; RVT credential is preferred.
