The Controls Technician - Evening Shift is an onsite role based in Tonganoxie, KS. Compensation is $27.00/hr plus a $2 shift differential, and this position supports the maintenance department at Marvin, a leading window and door manufacturer. This role exists to ensure production reliability by troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and PLC control issues on equipment. The technician will perform repairs, document maintenance in the EAM system, and collaborate with technical staff to improve machine performance.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC problems
• perform repairs
• use ladder logic programming (RS Logix 500/5000)
• document maintenance in EAM
• maintain program backups
• perform preventative maintenance
• assist with machine improvements.
