Security Officer I

What you'll do

• Patrol university property by vehicle and on foot
• inspect buildings, doors, windows, and campus property for safety hazards or policy violations
• document irregularities
• secure buildings and occasionally unlock them for authorized personnel
• answer the security phone and assist campus community members
• report irregularities and emergencies
• complete offense, incident, and vehicle accident reports
• issue campus citations
• respond to emergency calls and notify appropriate emergency personnel when needed.
