Corporate Accountant

The Corporate Accountant role is an onsite, full-time position in Washington, DC. The salary range is $95,000–$105,000 per year. The accountant supports financial operations for Invictus Capital Partners’ General Partner entity and affiliated operating company. The role oversees general-ledger activity and contributes to accurate reporting, financial statements, cash management, and close processes. It also supports forecasting, KPI analysis, compliance, and improvements to accounting systems and reporting tools.

What you'll do

• Review journal entries and reconciliations with the third-party accounting firm
• record and support journal entries
• reconcile intercompany balances, key accounts, and subledgers
• support monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• assist with financial statements and reporting packages
• coordinate with external auditors
• support cash management, cash-flow analysis, and projections
• analyze performance and variances
• support budgets, KPIs, and financial models
• manage payroll, licensing and compliance, and bank-covenant reporting
• maintain accounting systems
• support automated reporting and forecasting
• maintain P&L allocations and partner capital accounts.

Why this role

Requires at least two years of accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field. CPA is preferred but not required.
