The shift is 6:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., Monday–Friday or Sunday–Thursday, with weekend and holiday availability on a rotating basis. The pharmacist verifies prescriptions, reviews medication use for safety and appropriateness, and works with prescribers and healthcare teams to resolve discrepancies. The role also supports patient safety, regulatory compliance, accurate records, medication-related inquiries, and improvements to prescription verification processes.

What you'll do

• Verify prescription accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
• perform drug utilization reviews
• collaborate with prescribers and healthcare teams to clarify orders and resolve discrepancies
• identify medication interactions and take corrective action
• maintain compliant prescription records
• follow pharmacy laws, standards, guidelines, and formulary updates
• assist with medication-related inquiries as needed
• recommend improvements to prescription verification processes.

Why this role
