Chief Maintenance Engineer

The Chief Maintenance Engineer role is onsite in Wilson, NC. Compensation is $22–$25 per hour. The role leads maintenance at Home2 Suites by Hilton - Wilson Downtown and supports a safe, functional, well-maintained property for guests and team members. The chief engineer oversees preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and building systems while coordinating with hotel leaders and other departments. The role helps protect hotel assets, minimize guest disruption, and meet operational, safety, and guest-service goals.

What you'll do

• Lead daily maintenance operations
• inspect guestrooms, public areas, equipment, and exterior areas
• manage preventive maintenance and documentation
• diagnose and repair hotel systems
• respond to work orders, guest concerns, and emergencies
• monitor building systems
• manage supplies and expenses
• coordinate vendors
• maintain safety practices
• recruit, train, and coach team members when applicable
• provide on-call support for urgent needs as required.
