Food Services Aide - Part Time

Job overview

The Food Services Aide role is onsite in Quincy, IL, and pays $15.25–$17.25 per hour. The aide supports the dietary department at The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy, serving residents in its health center. The role helps maintain the dietary program by preparing and serving food, following residents’ diet orders, and keeping dining and pantry work areas supplied and sanitary. It also supports residents through courteous meal service and answers questions about menu items.

What you'll do

• Prepare therapeutic desserts and salads as required
• serve meals and snacks in health center pantries
• set up and clear dining tables
• transport food and non-food items
• wash dishes
• maintain coffee and juice machines and workstations
• take orders and answer menu questions
• ensure orders match physician diet orders.

Why this role
