What you'll do

• Performs quality ultrasound procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist of all ages.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines.
• Compassionately assist and position patients.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• Release the patient with proper post-procedure instructions.
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technician (RVT)

Experience
