Material Handler, Second Shift

The Material Handler, Second Shift role is onsite in Carter Lake, IA, working Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM. Starting pay is $19–$21 per hour, plus a $2 hourly shift differential, for an effective rate of $21–$23 per hour. PVS Metals’ material handlers support on-time customer deliveries and production flow.

What you'll do

• Complete shipping and receiving documentation
• plan and schedule delivery sequences based on truck capacity and customer priorities
• communicate schedule changes to Sales
• track and report on-time delivery performance
• and follow ISO standards, DOT regulations, OSHA requirements, and company procedures. The role also assists with crew training and continuous improvement initiatives and represents PVS Metals with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
