The Relief Nurse Supervisor, Part-Time Night Shift role is onsite in Columbus, OH. Starting base pay is $29.25 per hour for an LPN or $35.25 per hour for an RN, with additional shift, weekend, and relief-supervisor differentials described in the posting. Heinzerling Community provides person-centered care for children and adults with severe and profound developmental disabilities. The supervisor coordinates nursing staff and activities on the assigned shift, supports safe and consistent resident care, and promotes coordination across the interdisciplinary team. The role also assumes on-call responsibilities as requested by the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing.

What you'll do

• Orient and train new nurses
• assign and manage nursing staff and agency staffing for each shift
• investigate problems and complaints with nursing leadership
• schedule and conduct unit nurse meetings as directed
• assist with in-services and educational programs
• support team meetings and monitor nursing follow-through
• review nursing documentation and plans of care
• communicate nursing supply needs
• step in as unit nurse when needed
• assume on-call responsibilities as requested
• perform other duties within nursing scope as delegated.

Why this role
