The Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic, Learjet 60, works from a home base in one of the listed U.S. airport cities and travels to assigned maintenance locations. Pay starts at $60 per hour and is $70 per hour for experienced leads; El Paso, TX, and Titusville, FL, home bases receive an additional $5 per hour. The role supports a Part 135 executive jet charter operator’s Learjet 60 fleet. The mechanic performs line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs to keep aircraft airworthy and operating in accordance with manufacturer data, FAA requirements, and company procedures.

What you'll do

• Perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on Learjet 60 aircraft
• follow manufacturer manuals, applicable FARs, company procedures, and the FAA-approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program
• interpret technical manuals and electrical drawings
• move aircraft using tow tractors
• attend weekly maintenance meetings
• maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Why this role

Home base may be any of 34 listed airport cities, with company-provided airline travel to assigned maintenance locations. Schedule is an 8-on/6-off rotation, or Monday–Friday for El Paso or Titusville residents; the posting requires flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays, and an on-call rotation.
