Cable Assembly Technician (2nd Shift), onsite, in Huntsville, AL. The pay range is $40,300.00 - $72,850.00 per year. This role is responsible for building cables in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions, including cable construction, basic testing, troubleshooting, and repair.

What you'll do

• Build, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies.
• Working knowledge and use of tools used for cable manufacturing (strippers, crimpers, solder iron).
• Interpret engineer drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
• Candidates must have experience working with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and other technicians to develop a strategy and identify any problems that could occur during assembly.
• Perform basic troubleshooting to find faults in signal and connectivity issues.

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

High School diploma/GED with 1 to 3 years (or more) of experience with cable building and/or electrical/mechanical assembly experience.
