Fire Alarm Service Technician

What you'll do

• Inspect, test, and perform preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems
• diagnose and repair system components and wiring
• conduct functional tests
• upgrade or replace components as needed
• respond to emergency service calls
• coordinate with technical support and manufacturers when needed
• explain system performance and repairs to customers
• document service and obtain customer sign-off
• maintain inspection and repair records
• follow NFPA, manufacturer, local authority, OSHA, and company requirements.
