What you'll do

• Back up the department manager
• follow merchandising, ordering, scheduling, and people-development procedures
• provide customer service
• follow opening and closing procedures
• operate meat department equipment
• support staffing and labor utilization
• manage price changes and transfers
• follow storage, dating, and cold-chain procedures
• prepare, cut, trim, grind, and wrap meat
• stock products
• reinforce food safety, sanitation, and safety requirements.
