Dining Services Cook

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, salads, desserts, and rolls
• follow standardized recipes, menus, and diet cards
• monitor portions, seasoning, and food temperature
• serve meals and fluids according to instructions
• wash dishes
• maintain sanitary work areas
• set up the dining room
• provide staff direction as needed
• sweep, mop, and remove refuse.
