Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Washington, PA. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour. The technician supports production operations by maintaining machinery and facility equipment. The role exists to keep production equipment safe and operational while minimizing downtime. It installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains machinery and electrical systems, performs preventive maintenance, documents work, and assists production employees with equipment issues.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-system problems
• perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• troubleshoot production machinery and facility equipment
• interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, and manuals
• test circuits and components
• repair or replace equipment components
• assist with machinery installation and commissioning
• troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and variable-frequency drives when qualified
• perform basic welding, fabrication, machining, plumbing, and facility repairs as needed
• document work orders and maintain parts inventory
• follow lockout/tagout and safety requirements.
