The Seasonal Loan Processor role is onsite at the St. Clair Shores branch in Saint Clair Shores, MI. Pay is $18 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The role supports FreeStar Financial Credit Union’s Loan Servicing Department and its mission to positively impact members, team members, and the community through financial solutions. The processor reviews and verifies consumer loan documentation, prepares loan documents, and coordinates closings while helping maintain regulatory compliance and accurate records. Member and staff communications, account maintenance, and loan-file corrections support lending operations and protect credit union assets.
What you'll do
- Review and verify supporting documentation for approved consumer loan applications
- create loan documents
- schedule DocuSign and branch closings
- communicate with loan officers, members, and affiliates about lending decisions
- answer incoming calls
- perform account maintenance on Visa and loan accounts
- reverse loan payments and perform financial transactions as needed
- process adverse action notices and subsequent action forms
- review loan exceptions and correct loan files
- review Visa reporting for lost, stolen, or reissued cards
- audit Visa files.
