What you'll do

• Measure and count material requirements from drawings and blueprints
• calculate labor, equipment, overhead, and insurance costs
• request and assemble vendor and subcontractor quotes
• prepare and submit contract proposals
• assess risks such as supply delays, price changes, and weather
• recommend alternative materials or construction methods to reduce costs while maintaining quality
• attend site walks and field meetings and support on-site safety and compliance.
