Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Job overview

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role is onsite in Bedford, MA, providing care in clients’ homes. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. The position is part of Guardian Angel Senior Services’ home care team, which helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Depending on the position and client’s needs, the assistant may provide companionship, household help, meal preparation, errands, transportation, daily-activity and mobility assistance, medication reminders, and personal care. This support helps clients maintain comfort and independence in their homes.

What you'll do

• Depending on the position and client’s needs, responsibilities may include companionship and conversation
• light housekeeping, laundry, and changing linens
• meal preparation
• grocery shopping and errands
• transportation to appointments
• assistance with daily activities and mobility
• personal care and hygiene assistance for qualified PCA/caregiver positions
• medication reminders
• and helping maintain a safe, comfortable home.
