What you'll do

• Conduct examinations and diagnostic procedures
• take vital signs, collect samples, administer medications and vaccines, and bandage wounds
• prepare supplies and assist with examinations and operations as directed by a veterinarian
• provide nursing care and monitor patients
• maintain patient records
• communicate patient status to pet owners as directed
• maintain equipment and inventory
• clean and disinfect patient and operating areas
• support triage, discharge, and patient care
• meet credential, experience, IV placement, radiograph, laboratory, and venipuncture requirements.
