Rides Operator

Rides Operator is an onsite, seasonal role in Kansas City, MO. Compensation is $15 per hour. The position is part of Worlds of Fun’s Ride Operations department and supports safe, enjoyable guest experiences at the park. The operator assists guests with ride loading and unloading, checks restraints and ride requirements, operates controls when assigned, and monitors rides in motion. The role contributes to safe and smooth ride operations through clear guest instructions, cleanliness, teamwork, and adherence to park procedures.

What you'll do

• Assist guests with safely loading and unloading rides
• check safety restraints and ride requirements
• operate ride controls when assigned
• monitor rides while in motion
• explain safety rules and procedures
• maintain a clean and organized ride area
• follow safety procedures and Guest-First service standards
• work with the team to keep rides running smoothly
• assist with other duties as needed by ride leadership.
