The Senior Acquisition Consultant (CAAS) role is onsite near Annapolis Junction, MD, supporting a customer at Fort Meade, MD. Annual compensation is $130,000–$175,000. The Kenjya-Trusant Group provides acquisition support and other services for government and commercial clients, including national security missions. The consultant leads acquisition lifecycle and contract management work for complex cyberspace operations and federal environments. The role develops acquisition documentation, analyzes costs and invoices, tracks deliverables and milestones, and advises government program managers and contracting officers while ensuring compliance with applicable federal and defense acquisition requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead pre-award, award, and post-award acquisition activities
• develop acquisition strategies, plans, statements of work, cost estimates, market research, and justifications
• conduct data collection, cost, and procurement analysis
• review invoices
• manage contract deliverables and performance metrics
• prepare briefings, reports, and dashboards
• coordinate stakeholders and milestones
• manage schedules, risks, and dependencies
• support IT and cyberspace contracting
• ensure alignment with FAR, DFARS, and applicable DoD guidance
• advise government program managers and contracting officers.

Why this role

Requires U.S. citizenship, TS/SCI with Poly clearance, at least ten years of contract management experience, five years supporting federal or DoD acquisitions, and project management experience. Education and experience pathways include a master’s degree with ten years, bachelor’s degree with twelve years, or associate degree/high school diploma with sixteen years of related experience.
