Preschool Teacher Assistant

The Preschool Teacher Assistant role is onsite in Mukwonago, WI, with compensation of $13.40–$17.42 per hour. Cadence Education provides early childhood education through research-based curricula and supportive learning environments. The assistant supports daily classroom activities and helps maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children’s physical, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs. The role works with classroom staff and families to support learning, follow individualized plans as directed, and meet safety and licensing requirements.

What you'll do

• Support a respectful classroom environment
• greet children and families
• assist with individual developmental and learning needs, including IEPs and behavior plans as directed
• help implement curriculum and Cadence programs
• communicate with families and coworkers
• follow safety and supervision procedures
• document incidents
• participate in required meetings, training, and professional development.
