Weekend Caregiver — Part-Time

The Weekend Caregiver role is an onsite position based in Glencoe, IL, with openings also described in nearby suburbs. Pay is $16.50–$18.00 per hour. Amada Senior Care provides compassionate non-medical care to seniors and their families. The caregiver supports clients’ daily living, comfort, and well-being through personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, and reporting changes in health status.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other daily living activities
• provide companionship and emotional support
• help prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• perform light housekeeping
• escort clients to appointments and run errands
• monitor and report changes in clients’ health
• use behavior management techniques when needed.
