What you'll do

• Complete initial nutrition assessments, care plans, and MDS as part of care planning
• attend weekly risk meetings and monitor residents for weight loss or nutrition concerns
• oversee the dietary department for compliance with federal and state regulations
• contribute to menu planning and develop therapeutic diets
• collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team
• support nutrition standards and best practices in long-term care.
