Senior Business Analyst, QA Automation

The Senior Business Analyst, QA Automation role is onsite in Plano, TX. Compensation is $50–$55 per hour, and the posting describes a six-month duration with rotational weekend shifts and schedules of 8 a.m.–5 p.m. or 9 a.m.–6 p.m. The role works across business, technology, and enterprise architecture teams to connect business needs with technical delivery. The analyst gathers and prioritizes requirements, translates them into development-ready stories and specifications, and supports product planning and Agile delivery. The QA automation work includes creating and executing manual and automated tests, maintaining test frameworks, and supporting system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

What you'll do

• Gather, validate, and prioritize stakeholder requirements
• write JIRA stories, user stories, and system specifications
• develop test plans and manual test cases
• create and execute automated test cases using Selenium or other tools
• maintain automation frameworks and test cases
• conduct system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
• troubleshoot defects
• support Agile ceremonies
• perform impact analysis and gap assessments
• analyze datasets and prepare technical reports and process documents.
