What you'll do

• Perform resident skin assessments
• obtain treatment orders
• administer treatments as ordered and document appropriately
• educate patients, families, and staff on pressure-ulcer prevention, dressing selection, and adjunctive therapy
• collaborate with clinical staff, physicians, and treatment-team members
• serve as a resource to clinical staff
• train wound-care team members
• organize and direct the interdisciplinary Wound Care Committee.
