The houseperson prepares and maintains banquet spaces to match event specifications, then takes them down after service. This work supports banquet and catering events through accurate room setups, equipment care, cleaning, and assistance with food service as needed.

What you'll do

• Transport and set up tables, chairs, and staging
• stock supplies and clean banquet areas
• ensure room setups meet client specifications
• set up, maintain, and take down banquet rooms according to function specifications
• read Banquet Event Orders
• clean and maintain rooms and equipment
• sometimes transport food, assist the dishwasher, and plate for events.
