Commercial Flooring Warehouse Operator

Job overview

The Commercial Flooring Warehouse Operator role is onsite in Greenville, North Carolina, with a Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. The position supports flooring installation crews by preparing materials for scheduled jobs. The operator manages warehouse receiving, inventory, staging, and equipment use so crews have the correct flooring supplies ready for installation. The role also coordinates with project managers and assists with deliveries and job-site moisture testing as needed.

What you'll do

• Receive, unload, inspect, and log shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
• maintain inventory records and perform cycle counts using a Warehouse Management System
• organize and stage job-specific flooring materials
• coordinate with project managers
• maintain clear and organized storage and transit areas
• operate forklifts, carpet poles, and other warehouse equipment safely
• document and restock reusable returns and overages
• coordinate deliveries and unloading at job sites
• assist with in-situ moisture testing
• maintain a clean, safe work environment
• assist with routine equipment maintenance.
