Support Nurse

The Support Nurse role is an onsite, full-time position in Cabot, AR; compensation is not specified. The nurse reports to the Director of Nursing at Central Arkansas Assisted Living Community and supports its clinical department and resident care operations. The role helps coordinate clinical workflows, resident documentation, staffing, and aide onboarding so the facility can meet resident needs and applicable assisted-living requirements. Responsibilities include supporting medication passes, admissions, orders, assessments, audits, and care-plan meetings, while escalating matters outside the role’s scope to the Director of Nursing.

What you'll do

• Assist with medication passes, physician and advanced practice registered nurse rounds, new orders, admissions, resident charts, pharmacy consultant orders, labs and results, incomplete orders, medication-room organization, chart audits, incident and accident documentation, discharges, family care-plan meetings, level-of-care documentation, evaluations and assessments, and quality assurance. Help onboard, train, schedule, and ensure coverage for aides
• participate in the Manager on Duty program and take call as rotation requires.
