What you'll do

• Under supervision, learn professional phone etiquette and patient scheduling
• use basic electronic health record functions in MEDENT
• perform patient check-in and check-out
• help manage patient flow and the waiting area
• handle front-desk tasks such as faxing, copying, and filing
• learn medical terminology and introductory insurance billing and coding
• follow HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
